"Walking in the town centre we run into this restaurant; we did fancy a fish and chips so we stopped here. The place was clean and tidy, and the staff was polite and helpful too. Me and my sister had a large cod and battered chips with a coke, while my mother got a large cod with chips, peas and tea: the total amount was 17,65£, less than 6£ each, drinks included! It took five minutes to get the dishes, so the wait wasn't long at all. The cod was fresh and fragrant, the battered chips were delicious. This restaurant was really a pleasing surprise I will be surely back if hanging around there again!"

"Can't believe they're still open!! It was the very first restaurant I visited in the UK back in and for a while I became addicted to their doner meat and chips with chilli, mint and lemon. Granted, looking back it wasn't exactly a gourmet experience but it was cheap, tasty and jolly. The fact that they're still open after all these years says it all, they must be doing something right"

"My first and last visit to this chip shop. Visited recently as was nearby and hungry.Plus this shop is only a ten minute walk from where I live. I ordered fish and chips, and when I got home I discovered the fish wasn't even cod. It was white fish like coley perhaps, but tasted soggy and the batter was extremely thick and very very greasy. I paid for my meal, and although I should have asked if the fish was cod, I still felt totally ripped off. There are one or two other decent chip shops within the city centre and next time I will take my custom there. ! I am sorry but I cannot recommend this place at all and I will never make the mistake of using it again just because I am nearby!."

"Been here with my fiancé many times. The staff are always friendly and professional. With my partner being a vegetarian it's sometimes hard to find something he'll enjoy. But this place do a decent range of veggie options. I always find myself returning to this shop when I don't quite know what I fancy. Fab food, fab staff"
