"The catfish was perfect. Crispy, cornmeal crust on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. The coleslaw was the best Ive had since moving to Utah from Texas and this is the only restaurant Ive found here that has good, ol fried okra as well as the southern fried catfish. The only thing missing was the hushpuppies!"

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE... ...Food was ice cold ... biscuits were EXTREMELY dry.. nearly choked ...could not eat without drinking water at the same time ... ordered pancakes...got NONE ... chicken biscuit was way overcooked AND had NO GRAVY ...Bacon was pathetically small ... "My family and I absolutely love this place. We’ve been coming here for a while now, and all the staff are friendly and always down to have a quick chat. However, recently, it’s gotten more popular than they can handle. The wait time has soared, and once you finally get seated, it takes them a long while to get you your food. Today, we waited almost an hour to be seated and then half an hour to get our food. Very lovely place, and we absolutely love it, but maybe hiring more staff might help with the wait problem. Five out of five stars, honestly."

"There's a word to describe these candlestickers. crap crap and more crap! I moved to layton and these kids are in my opposite. I have visited it three times now, so I have a pretty good test to check the eating as crap! I have ordered various items each time and all are just as bad. the turkey bacon avocado on focaccia was a piece of dry truthahn on the day old dry brot. incredible. the chicken chop salad was a handful salat with a few tomatoes and five pieces cold huh. the price of $7.79 is not worth. I bet whondy has better salads that I never tried, but everything is better than that.) now desserts. I have eaten a delicious cheesecake...more"
