"The staff were friendly and attentive although there was very little atmosphere in restaurant. Food prices were very high for a small town hotel and portions not that great. £11 for a slice of toast with mushrooms on and £32 for an average steak. The hand cut chips were undercooked hard in the middle. An expensive dinner for one at nearly £60"
