"Seasonnally changing Cordon Bleu, excellent liver, Barbecues very nice prople... Tunesian chief who makes the location a very special place. A very recomnendable spot, inside an American bar and cosy restaurant, with good weather a nice garden under big trees. Recommendable anyway!!!"

"Ab und zu waren wir in den vergangenen Monaten Gäste in der Schmitte. Wir waren nie enttäuschtDer Wienerschnitzel bleibt für mich einer der besten von meinen bekannten „Schnitzel-Beizen“. Sehr dünn geplättet, wie es sein muss. Wichtig ist die Panure! Und die schönen, gebräunten „Wellen“. Und die Egli-Knusperli waren wieder einmal perfekt knusprig. Der vorausgehende Salat frisch, schön präsentiert und die Salatsauce hat gemundet.Und weil ich es wusste, wurde mir noch einmal der „Spargeldessert“ zubereitet (war schon nicht mehr auf der Karte). Der Dessert-Geheimtipp, wenn Sie mal dort sind (grüne Spargelspitzen, in Tempura gebacken, leicht gepudert, mit einer Holunder-Sauerrahmcrème vom Feinsten). Wenn wir so zurückschauen: sehr ausgeglichene Qualität, perfekt auf anspruchsvollem Niveau gehalten. Der Empfang wiederum zuvorkommend, sehr kompetente Bedienung. Auch die Küche vermag mit den sehr feinen Speisen zu überzeugen. Jedes Mal. Sehr gast- und preisfreundlich.Die Weinkarte ist weiterhin sehr interessant und sie zeigt, dass der Patron gute Weinkenntnisse besitzt. Wir haben den Abend, das Ambiente und das sehr gute Essen genossen."

"Das "Essen" spottet leider wirklich jeglicher Beschreibung. Besser, man verzichtet und investiert andernorts. Pizza ist zäh und schmeckt wie ein TK-Produkt, Fleisch ist überteuert und Gemüsebeilagen gibt es nicht. Salate ohne Dressing oder ähnliches, ungewaschener Blattsalt, grob geschnittene Tomaten ... Horror!"

"Ci siamo recati un sabato mattina intorno alle 11.00 per fare una colazione, pur sapendo che la tavola calda apre dalle 11.30, la signora, probabilmente la proprietaria,ci ha accolto con sgarbo, causa l'orario "poco consono" per una veloce colazione. Il cappuccino non era stato preparato bene, tanto che sembrava più un triste e semplice caffè con il latte, dovuto probabilmente alla poca montatura del latte. Per quanto riguarda le paste, l'idea di lasciare un piccolo cesto a lato del tavolo senza nemmeno spiegarne il contenuto è apparsa negativa, e per di più i gipfeli in essi contenuti sembravano li lasciati senza cura.Per finire, dulcis in fundo, all' atto del pagamento il mio amico che ha richiesto se si potesse pagare con i contanti in euro, ovviamente accettando il tasso di cambio e l'eventuale resto in valuta locale, gli è stato scortesemente risposto che non era possibile e che doveva pagare solamente in contanti, ovviamente senza la possibilità di comunicare in inglese. Per concludere la signora, la stessa che ci ha "accolto", non ci ha nemmeno salutati all' uscita. A mio parere assolutamente non consigliato, sopratutto se non si è del posto."
