"De passage dans cette région pour le week-end, chouette découverte d'une bonne adresse pour la gourmande que je suis. Les tartes sont très appétissantes, faites maison et surtout délicieuses maintenant que j'ai goûté !!! Le plus dur en fait, ce fut de choisir !!!! Le personnel est très souriant et agréable, et en plus il y a un grand parking juste devant, n'hésitez donc pas à vous y arrêter , je vous recommande cet endroit !!"

The service and the owner are very friendly and you can get by well with English. The restaurant also seems to be popular with the French. So definitely highly recommended! "Top. They found us a small table at noon despite our late reservation. very beautiful experience in the presentation and quality of the dishes and the service, but also the setting. "We drove around 20 minutes to get there from our B&B at La Bastide de Muriers, but it was worth the drive for our last night in the area. The drive was scenic and we had heard from Evelyn, our host, that this was considered the best restaurant in the area. She advised and we agreed, to make reservations, and she took care of it for us. Once there we parked at a parking lot a few meters from the restaurant. Look at the pictures to locate it. Initially we thought that we could not park there but that's not the case. From the time you step into the restaurant you know you're in a fine place. We were welcomed by the hostess and offered our menus and drinks. The hostess (and owner, I presume) has over 40 years in the business and is very experienced. My wife has dietary restrictions and the hostess was very, very accommodating, offering options and making sure that we were going to have a great experience, which we did. Like other reviewers, it can get a little bit pricey (we spent $131 USD) for a meal for three, with only a little bit of wine, but it's worth it. Consider that we spent about the same amount amount of money at a restaurant in Paris that is of considerably less quality. Unlike other reviewers, we could only check the outside settings because it had just rained, so we sat inside. If you have the chance to stop by this restaurant, do so. you'll have a great dining experience."

"Me, my girlfriend and another family member had lunch here before going to se the famous grotto. Very difficult to get the attention of the people working there. Extremely slow with everything. My girlfriend selected the menu, I took a grill selection and entrecot for our guest. The meal was followed by two bottles of water (still and sparkling). The entre from the 3 part menu arrived together with my grill selection. We tried without luck asking when the entrecot would arrive. Then after we had finished that dish the entrecot arrived at the table. Grill plate was with french fries and something they called “bearnaise” but that had never ever been real bearnaise. The entrecot was bad from one end to rhe other more than 50% was left on the plate. The second dish of the menu was a mix of different meat parts in a stew but it was tasteless and then there was a long hair in it ... We stopped right there and decided to pay and go without dessert and coffee (that was included). At the table we got a promise of a discount that was not the case at the cassier from the owner. He had the nerve to ask if the food was OK after he got the description he said it was the first time today he heard something like that it would not have impressed me if he had claimed it was the first time this year. This place lives on that people never return you only go there to se the grotto and very few return while they still are around making lausy food. Don’t eat there!"
