"This is a great place. It’s a little up the highway but worth the trip. The restaurant is beautiful with some wonderful Aztec art, a fountain and all around calming atmosphere. I had the pork shank and it was soooo good. Flavourful and rich sauce. Great staff."

"This used to be our favourite restaurant in La Manz. This was our first time back after an absence of a few years and we were disappointed that the overall experience at Martin's no longer shines as it once did. The ambience is lovely you are seated on level with the coconuts in the surrounding trees and the sunset view over the ocean is beautiful. However, it was an hour and a half before our Caesar salad for two was prepared at our table by that time we had eaten all the provided tortilla chips and while frustrated by the wait, were no longer hungry enough to enjoy the salad, which certainly was good. Martin was aware that we were annoyed by the long wait but did not apologize, explain, or try to make up for it. This was not a busy evening only 4 other tables were occupied, so really no excuse for slow service. The Caesar salad is quite good, as other reviews indicate, however the Azteca soup was quite s and the shrimp stuffed avocado was over done with mayo. Disappointing for a restaurant that has been in business for 20 years and used to be amazing."

"The place looks neglected and......something dirty, at least when you go to Bagno. You should clean up the place. The waiter was slow, he asked if we wanted something else (lemon) when we were almost ready. Wine was good."

"This restaurant on the sea with a half covered terrace and half-open to the stunning blue sky is a great place to dinate, especially during the sunset hour. Host/Co owner lora is very willing to be kreatiw with whatever is in the kitchen to make something vegan. the sopa azteca (aztec soup) can be made on request vegan and is a very hearty supper that is worth the trip by itself. a wise movement when coming from puerto vallarta in the north, or manzanillo in the south, is vegan cheese on the great super market chain lacomer or on some of the small health food shops you can find here on happy cow. lora will then make the vegetarian enchiladas and/or frogs with vegan cheese instead of milk cheese. their sauces are great, all local natural ingredients. both owners speak English. the margarita is good and bastante fuerte. best to go earlier on the day and lora they come later and are vegan to give their time to plan something special. because she is a creative cook, she likes the opportunity. updated by previous review on 2022-02-18"
