At the end of a country lane that leads into nothing but green fields and woodland you are greeted by the sound of bird song and the surprisingly raucous chorusing of frogs in the pond at the bottom of the garden.Guests, as well as the horses, cattle, hens and goats are given free-range to wander as they please. We stayed for a week in the Chambre d'hote and had frequent changes of bed linen and fresh towels - most welcome given the night-time temperatures!. Breakfast and evening meals were served on the lovely terrace, under the shade of fruitful fig trees looking out to fields and woodland.Our hosts, Jean-Michel and Thierry, were so welcoming, attentive and warm - nothing was too much trouble.We feel like we've discovered a little gem and it is a place to which we will return."
