"We had to wait for 1hr 30min to have our meal. Our order was simple, sashimi plate and sushi plate. We didn't order a course meal since we wanted sashimi which wasn't in a course meal. When our waiting time is around 45min, a server brought us a small snack with apologies, so we continued waiting thinking that they probably got too many orders at once. All other tables got their orders (seemed most of them had sukiyaki course) appetizers and sukiyaki, and waiting for their sushi, while we are patiently waiting for our sashimi sushi which is relatively simple (sashimi is just a cut raw fish). When the waiting time is 1hr 30min, sushi plates came out to be served to the tables. We thought our meal finally came, but they were all served to other tables. The table next to us came in later than us, and both our tables ordered around the same time, so we were thinking that when sushi plate comes out, we will be served before them for sure... but still we were the very last one to be served. At this point our patience was over, my husband asked the server to explain why this happened. She said that it is because there is only one sushi chef, and kitchen menu (menu other than sushi) comes from the back kitchen which is faster, also they got a lot of sushi roll which made other orders backed up. Well, that doesn't explain this at all. You can still change the order whose sushi should be made to serve the meals to all the tables in a balanced order, or tell the customer about your kitchen's situation (sushi takes xxmin right now) etc. plus again, sashimi is just cut raw fish. We don't understand why it took 1hr 30min to come out. I would say it is a poor service and management not caring about customer's side. Not all the customer order kitchen menu, and no one expect waiting for 1hr 30min to eat at a restaurant with this service especially at this price range. As for the food itself, it is okay. 3 pieces of sushi in my plate had too much wasabi... I wouldn't spend this much money for this quality again."

"We had the Omakase for our anniversary dinner. We were very excited to be able to go to a more upscale Japanese restaurant in Burlington. We usually head to places in Toronto to eat fancier Japanese and we loved every bite. The Chawanmushi (savoury egg custard dish) was divine we ate some dishes that we'd never had before. I especially loved the soup in the ironstone teapot. The sushi was also amazing. Would definitely come back bring people. Elegant simple decor and nice service. The quality is reflected in the pricing and should not be compared to the run of the mill sushi restaurants that are usual found in Burlington. (which we also enjoy for our regular sushi cravings). If you looking for a authentic Japanese food, I highly recommend coming here."

"Ordered take out from Ikki Sushi and was impressed by how quickly they prepared our order and how delicious the food was. Thank you for a great take out lunch! Ordered Combos 805, 806, 807 and 808...which included Miso soup and spring rolls."

"They did a very good job on the foods, seems they changed a lot on the menu, they made the sushi rolls just right size so that you can do one bite one piece, and don’t put too much rice instead they put more fish and vegetables inside to make it tasty. And the stuff are so kind, sometimes they are very busy so you may need to wait for the food. I love their sushi so much"

"I usually don't write reviews, but pantski sushi is a place that is commendable. chef tim is very welcoming, attentive and accommodating. my wife and I are great sushi lovers and we were in japan several times. we agree that chef tim offers the best taste and experience that rival what we had in japan. we have recommended and many friends brought to pantski, and all have agreed to that pantski is a jewel. this is our favorite place for sushi hands down. we had the Grandmakase dinner. turn on and off regularly and it has never disappointed. I would like to think as quite pickier eater and I think the prices are very fair for the taste and quality of sushi they offer."

"I ate here solo and wanted a Sashimi lunch. I got a soup which tasted old and extremely salty. The Benb box had salad with a tomato covered in heavy gross dressing and the tomato seemed old and withered. The Salmon on the plate was cut so large that I had to cut it with my teeth to put it into my mouth. Obviously no knife with only chop sticks. The other types of fish were cut appropriately but nothing impressed me and it didn’t seem fresh to me. Wouldn’t go back to this restaurant again. Service was quick and restaurant was empty...makes you wonder why!"

"Celiac-friendly sushi. I eat sushi and stumbled on this restaurant. they were very patient and spent 20 minutes on the phone that went through the whole menu with me. They have a lot of GF options and tagged everything with gluten (tempura, unagi, etc.) they delivered gf sojasoße as well as with takeout. I went back to confirm that it wasn't a fuke."
