"I found out that this shop sold GF Fish and have thoroughly enjoyed a few meals over recent months. However, Friday 7th Jan 2022 was different. I tried to phone ahead to order GF but no reply on several occasions. I drove 8 miles to the shop and found myself in a long queue. Quite happy to wait my turn. After waiting 15 minutes to order, I asked an assistant for GF Cod. The shop owner, angrily commented that I don 't do Gluten Free between 5-8pm on a Friday . I can understand this but he then snapped I 've been clear about this, many times! I did not need to be spoken to like this. I then bough my meal elsewhere."

"I am really surprised at the 4 5 star ratings. Maybe I have been unlucky but I have had cod chips from them 3 times and every time it was literally dripping fat from it. Shouldn't have gone back a 2nd 3rd time but I had hoped that it would have improved. Really greasy. Shan't be using them again."

"We were on the way to harwich international port for the night ferry. the kings arms is 2 miles from the stretch and is a perfect place to dinner. the interieur is beautifully decorated and has a very beautiful feeling. the staff was very friendly, always smiling and cleverly dressed. the double cheeseburger and fish chips with a chocolate cream dessert were delicious, that was a great sound."
