"Went to Winkies with friends for the first time. Welcoming staff in their small but comfortable restaurant. Ordered a medium size cod and chips as recommended because the large is so big. They were right. The medium was large. The fish was excellent. Nice and crispy batter with lovely white tasty fish. The chips were crisp on the outside and soft inner. Perfect. I wasn't left bloated. The best fish and chips I've ever had. One down side is the parking. Shall return soon."
