"Warning: no parking available on site without military ID! I was told by a military police officer on duty that Beach House 604 is owned by the military and is on Army property. As such, vehicles aren 't allowed to park on base and you 'll have to park nearby and walk in unless you 're some flavor of American military.On a Friday at 6:30 (as peak as it gets, I suspect) wait time was about 30 minutes for our party of three, which seems fair but was rough with a small child along.I got Macnut Mahimahi and it was delicious, the kid 's popcorn chicken was what you expect, and the stuffed salmon wasn 't to my taste but my wife had me push the food score up to four stars.The apple turnover was the best thing I 've eaten so far on our trip, I would almost go back to just to try their other desserts.Seating is almost entirely outdoors, which is a win given Hawaii and the view of the beach is nice. Ambiance is loud what place with live music isn 't? and the sun can be a bit obnoxious, but they 've got shades that help a lot."

"Yay! A new place to eat in Makaha! Small snack joint that offer plate lunches, burgers, sandwiches and noodles. The place is run by two people that cook right in front of you. Which means expect a wait if there is a line. I ordered a Hamburger Steak plate, Mushroom Cream Chicken and a Fried Saimin. The Hamburger Steak was made from scratch with good brown gravy. Everywhere I go, Hamburger Steak is my go to meal and this place passes. The macaroni salad was also very yummy, soft not hard, and very flavorful not just mayo and mac. The Mushroom Chicken seemed like rotisserie chicken with cream of mushroom which is good if that 's your thing, but I personally buy way too many Costco chickens for my liking. The Fried Saimin however, was made from scratch. They also sell fresh uncooked noodles for $1.50 a ball in which the plate uses 2 balls. This is very unique, don 't know anywhere else that makes their own noodles. The Fried Saimin was yummy! A little on the sweet side, maybe too much oyster sauce? But still very good! I will definitely be returning to get my Hamburger Steak fix! And to try the rest of the food. They have an interesting menu definitely something for everyone, from Meat Jun to Spicy Pork Belly to Saba and Pastrami Sandwiches. Go check them out!
