"We went for a family day to St Cergue during the beautiful autumn weather we are having currently. The leaves are changing to brown and the views were sublime. We needed a family friendly restaurant to have lunch, nothing special and the Restaurant du Jura...in the centre of town looked like it would fit the bill. We should have read the warning signs on the boards outside and taken the hint from the waiter's exhausted attitude. From the start we felt like a terrible inconvenience. We were posted into an airless corner and given our menus and then studiously ignored for 30 mins. The food was eyewateringly expensive and we needed to argue to get a carafe of water alongside some other drinks. We were the last to be served in the room, after 3 groups of 4 who arrived after us, despite us telling the waiter we needed to feed the kids. The food was tossed onto the table after over an hour of waiting and part of the order forgotten...you get the picture. It went all the way like this. Really not a family restaurant and definitely not worth the price or the attitude you have to put up with. Extremely disappointing."

"This restaurant re-opened n September 2015, replacing the well-known La Cezille at the same spot. It has a limited menu, and the two local specialities are the 'Botato' as a starter, a local sausage, and the 'Jambon à l'Os' as a main course. The decor is no frills (plastic tables and chairs on the terrace), the service is friendly. On the evening we went, my veal kidneys with mustard sauce were pleasant enough ; the Carré d'agneau of my wife was slightly overcooked. If we return, it would really be for the specialties. Small wine list with local wines, with very kind markups."

"Beautiful location, but very unfriendly and unprofessional service. Would not go again and would not recommend. This is a shame as the resto could be top if managed and staffed with professionals."
