"Finding somewhere to eat for Sunday lunch in France, particularly if one is on the move, can often be tricky. We booked lunch at Restaurant du Delice on line on Sunday morning and received a very prompt response accepting our booking. Our welcome was warm and our hostess spoke very good English. The choice of food wasn't extensive but nevertheless delicious. The meal started with an amuse bouche. I chose vegetable soup followed by Chicken breast in mushroom sauce and ended with a cheese platter. My husband had a melange of mushrooms, duck and then creme brulee which was ceremoniously flambed! The wine options were modest but very enjoyable. At the end of our meal the chef made himself known to us and it was great to be able to thank him personally for our enjoyable meal. If you're in the vicinity don't miss the opportunity to dine at Restaurant du Delice."
