"Alright food, waited 40 odd minutes for our takeaway after arriving at the time we were told to. Asked the guy to check everything was there, passed him a list. He just said everything is there, and when we got home the chips were missing. Not great on a £90 order and in a semi rural location where you can't just nip back for something. Food wasn't as good as previous visits."

"Wonderful location for a weekend getaway but unfortunately ruined in part by the ridiculous 20 mph limit in all built up areas. This alone will make our decision to go elsewhere easy. What a shame as the resort have done nothing wrong. Apart from the speed reduction the staff and facilities were excellent. Nearby activities: Don't bother going to the steam railway. £35.10 each return for a 12 mile trip. Totally over priced. We turner around when we saw the prices. You could upgrade to 1st class for an additional £16 each!!! Enough said. Went to Devils Bridge Waterfalls instead. Great value and well worth the trip. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet"
