"This afternoon we were able to enjoy a stroganoff for 2 people at Landgasthof Lueg. Too bad the plates were cold and the meat was borderline acceptable (tough). After more than half an hour of waiting, we asked the waitress who was clearing away our reservations. I guess she didn't understand us. Service: 3 Location: 5"

"My friends drove me from Bern, Switzerland to this wonderful restaurant in a quaint historic building. The setting is lovely and the cuisine very special. I started my lunch with a vegetable cream soup with ginger. It was delicious along with the homemade bread. Then I had a schnitzel with swiss chard and potato coquettes. Everything was excellent. Joerg (George), the very friendly restaurant manager explained the menu to me in English. I really appreciated this. I probably won't be able to dine at this restaurant again since I won't be back in the area. However, I want to the Trip Advisor readers two things: 1. If you can drive the scenic roads from Bern to Durrenroth, please do because it is one of the most beautiful drives you will do in your lifetime. 2. Be sure to dine at the Baren Durrenroth Restaurant. You will be so glad you did. For those who are disabled, the restrooms are on the same floor as the restaurant."
