"Si la cuisine est de bonne qualité, l'accueil et le service ont été déplorables; arrivés à 13 heures, après avoir réservé, le premier plat (du menu du jour) nous a été servi plus d'une heure et quart après notre arrivée et les deux enfants qui étaient avec nous ont attendu une heure et demie avant qu'on leur amène le menu enfant !!..Il a fallu systématiquement insister et réclamer à quatre ou cinq reprises pour avoir une bouteille de vin et d'eau supplémentaire...Enfin, les toilettes étaient repoussantes : les toilettes des dames étant bouchées, nous avons été dirigées vers les toilettes de la salle de sport, d'une saleté innommable, la serviette destinée à s’essuyer les mains, étant maculée d’excréments...Du jamais vu et, surtout, la responsable de l'hotel a été particulièrement désagréable quand nous lui avons signalé l'état de ses toilettes, n'hésitant pas à mettre en doute notre parole !Bref, un établissement à fuir."

"We were here for a Father's Day lunch on the recommendation of my parents and were not disappointed. The service is attentive but very friendly. The wine is good and there's a nice selection of aperitifs too. The food is well-paced and portioned and cooked perfectly. The prawns were excellent and the steak simply sublime with a very well-balanced sauce to match. Desert was a well-executed trio that didn't overfill but rounded off the meal perfectly. Looking forward to a revisit asap."

"We were passing through Beaumont last Sunday and stopped here on the off chance at 1.15pm to ask if it were still possible to get a simple one-dish lunch without the full 3/4 course meal, as we still had a good drive to get where we were going that afternoon. We were asked in no uncertain terms if we thought the chef's restaurant looked like a "snack bar" - (God forbid!), and what on earth were we thinking by turning up at 1.15 expecting to be served when they were busy serving dessert to the other customers? I therefore cannot say what the food is like as we were virtually thrown out of the place for being so presumptuous, but if the welcome is anything to go on, I definitely will not be going back to try.We ended up finding a very pleasant and welcoming place in the next village where we arrived EVEN LATER, but still got a great meal along with a smile."
