"Firstly let me apologize for writing this review in English, but I find it much easier for me.Anyway a few of my friends and I went to O Flaveurs, which I never been to before, I must say I was surprise (no pun intended) to see that the only option they had was their surprise menu. We were told the reason why the chef only propose such menus, and I can see his point, yes only working with fresh product and small producer can indeed limit your menu but it is well worth it in the end. You only enjoying what's in season or what the fisherman as just caught the night before or what the butcher was selected, its rare experience.So we decided to go for the 5 course dinner, we were ask if we had any dislike or allergies, I told them that I was allergic to all shellfish and was told that normally with the aperitif they served some prawn beignet but they would change it for me and that after that I wouldn't have to worry about a thing. We were also a little concerned for the wine and were put at ease straight away by the maitre D who told us that once the chef had seen our dislike and allergies and decided on our menu the sommelier would be able to help us make our choice.Once we were done the sommelier came to see us and ask us if we wanted some help with the wine or if we had chosen already, we told him that we weren't sure as to what to do for the wine since we didn't know what we were having, and if it was possible to leave it up to him and serve us something by the glass for each course. He told us that it wasn't any problem at all and that he would let us try each wine he would be serving us before hand to see if we like it.With that in out of my mind we enjoyed our aperitif, which was followed by a lovely appetizer: a fillet of Perch from the Léman lac served with its little ratatouille and toasted tomato brioche, which was just lovely.Then came our starters, I saw arriving what looking like crab (which it was) and god did I panic (not only because I can't have it but because I always hate sending something back), as I was about to mention it, the waiter behind me serve me a completely different starter. My friends got to enjoy a king crab serve with apple and fruits vinegar, while I enjoyed a beautiful foie gras served with a melon foam and Muscat wine Jelly.For the fish course the chef prepare for us a fantastic turbot just grilled served with tomatoes (which I normally hate) some cooked, some raw, it must have been at least 4 or 5 different kind on the plate. It was delightful. God did I mention the maitre D cut the turbot in front of us, never seen my friend so quiet, we were all mesmerize.We were served next a veal that was so tender that you didn't even need a knife to cut it, it just melted in your mouth. Served with a selection of mini vegetable and a veal jus. It was simply divine. The veal was followed by a enormous cheese trolley, you had so much choice I didn't even know where to start.And to finish the dessert oh my god the dessert, a strawberry and rhubarb base dessert, shape like a big strawberry and served with a strawberry ice cream. The strawberry mousse was so light and fresh and cut the slight acidity of the heart of rhubarb.I realize that I haven't mention the wine with the meal, the simple reason is that although we enjoy every single one that the sommelier suggested i can not for the life of remember their mane, but it was none of the less very good indeed.Overall an excellent surprise and an experience that will need to be repeated."

"We have been here twice to eat. The first time was not so good because the meat I ordered was very hard and after I had told him that it was too hard to eat he said that they were having problems with the meat that day and that other clients had said that too. What I dont understand is why they continued to serve the meat if they knew it wasnt going to be good. Anyway he didnt charge me for the dinner which was a nice gesture. Also they didnt tell us about the offer of the day so we ordered from the menu only to notice afterwards that there was something else we could have ordered. The second time we went it was much better and we will go back again. Atmosphere is very relaxed and sometimes a bit loud because of the high ceiling. The service is good."

"We went there without reservation and they found us a nice place. Excellent service with smile and good mood. An excellent meal from aero to dessert. Everything was perfect. A superb view of Lake Geneva, a perfect evening. The wine was very good too. Thank you and we will return with pleasure"
