"This place proves exactly why Canada has so far to go with Mexican food. I went for dinner and everything was bland and boring. First of all, who closes at 7 pm mid week during the middle of summer when that is your only time to earn business?? I say that because they are closed all winter. They were out of all their meat, I got the last of the chicken and I heard them sending potential customers away to the fish and chips place next door. The food itself had zero flavor. The chicken tastes like it was boiled, absolutely no seasoning. Having lived in Mexico and coming from the US where there is amazing Mexican food, these guys completely miss the mark. They offer chicken, steak and fish, no pork. Which is a shame because its a cheaper cut than beef and would taste better if they bothered to do chili verde, al pastor or even a simple carnitas. And my burrito had an overall taste of cleaning solution, like they wiped the board down with a rag that had bleach water on it then made my burrito. Also, the service was painfully slow. Anyone that "loves" the food here doesn't know anything about real Mexican flavors so trust me when I tell you, don't bother! The only redeeming quality is that they serve the real glass bottle Coke (made from cane sugar not HFCS) and Dad's Root Beer. But hey, If you like 10 dollar burritos that taste like cardboard and bleach water, be my guest."

On different occasions we've bought Borscht, Green Borscht (made with spinach), Fish Soup, Beef Stew and Spinach Soup with Blue Cheese. Because Oxana and Mark are using only quality products and ripe vegetables, fruits and berries - everything prepared by them tastes outstanding. They treat you as they would treat themselves. Oxana and Mark are very friendly and accommodating. I can't think of other place in White Rock where you can get quality foods at moderate prices while getting to know such wonderful hosts.""

"This place popped up as meeting all our criteria for a relaxing dinner with seafood. We had the Del Mar volcano bowl and a couple of dark Modelo lager. This is the first place I’ve found in Canada that has the volcano bowls and so I’ll definitely be back again! The Del Mar was outstanding and I expect the others will be too!"

"I ate here today. was looking for a place to have good Mexican food in South Surrey, after I strip of sal y limon, and a few others on the white rock, this place has amazing food, authentic Mexican, I had the enchiladas, also ordered the chicken tacos, very tasty, aromatic, and a good portion, they had great service. I would recommend this place if they want fast authentic Mexican food that is very cheap.???????"

"First off, the service was great the staff were awesome and made some great food suggestions.We were the only people there when we went granted it was something like 5 outside so don’t blame everyone for being home.I just wish the portion sizes were bigger for what you pay I got the tacos. The fish taco was great. The chorizo was a bit too dry for me.I’d go again, for sure can’t beat tacos!"
