"This is a very traditional roadside restaurant just outside the town of Chagny. The restaurant is attached to a very interesting Art Deco garage.The food is very fresh and wholesome plus the service is very friendly, even in English!Do not expect a massive menu or a vegetarian choice, this is a traditional restaurant where you are given the dishes of the day with a carafe of wine and a choice of desert, all for a very cheap price of around 15Euro but the food is fab!Well worth a visit!"

"This modern restaurant in a sympathetic conversion of an old building is excellent. The food is a modern take on french country cooking, but the Michelin starred provenance of the family shows in the details and presentation. We only had a fairly quick lunch, but...I will come back for dinner one fay, as the food was faultless, and with the light touch so often missing in France. Service was friendly, but also professional and understated."
