"Came here whilst on holiday in the Summer, loved the food and pub that we came back for a second visit in the Winter. Good quality food, in a lovely traditional pub with welcoming staff and very dog friendly too. Looking forward to our 3rd visit soon."

"Not visited for more than 5 years and were slightly disappointed that it wasn't quite as good as we remembered. May have been better if we had eaten in the restaurant rather than the bar. Unfortunately, that was closed, I assume due to staff shortages. All that said, the food was good, reasonably priced and staff were helpful and friendly."

"We live locally and always use Crakes as they used to be the best chip shop in the area but now they are appalling! The chips that we had today were clearly reheated from lunchtime:rock hard, cold and like a bit of concrete. The fish was no bigger than a match box in soggy batter! We will never go again and would definitely not recommend. £18.66 for terrible fish and chips, a sausage and 2 cokes! (Still using polystyrene boxes too!"
