"Unfortunately this restaurant changed hands. My husband and I enjoyed many years of good food esp Veal Parm. We gave the place a break for a couple of weeks until the new owner got settled. We were astounded in how fast the quality of the food went bad. Could not cut the veal, sauce was not good and my chicken was swimming in an oily lemon thing, not chicken francaise I had ever seen. The best is when my husband told the young man at the counter how awful our dinner was he said Well we are under new management. That says it all."

"This place has been in town here for a very long time. More than 15 or 20 years maybe. At least 15. I went to the karate school that was next to it 15 years ago until the school moved to a larger space. People used to get things at HK Chef all the time. NEVER heard one complaint. I hadn't tried it myself until earlier this year and I am sorry I waited so long. The food is great. They are nice people. They are consistently good. I would recommend them to anyone. They don't overspice their plainer dishes so you may want to ask for more spice or add what you want at home. That is not a bad thing in my opinion. Congratulations to this business!"

"We've had takeout a couple of times, yesterday was our first dine in meal. Food was great. Service was on point. All the food was fresh and hearty portions. I got the meowgi tacos which were great, nicely balanced smoke, heat Buffalo tang. Definitely would have again. My husband order the Cuban pork special. The meat was juicy delicious. We didn't have room for dessert but they looked so good we brought them home. Both cakes were fantastic. I had the banana toffee and sampled my husband's chocolate funfetti cheesecake. Definitely recommend."
