""Tanzcafe Waldesruh" (http://www.waldesruh.org/): Von Freunden liessen wir uns überreden, das seit ewigen Zeiten existierende Tanzcafe Waldesruh in Linz/Ebelsberg zu besuchen (ich kann mich noch daran erinnern, als Kind die Wegweiser zur Waldesruh auf der Fahrt zum Pichlingersee gesehen zu haben). Tischreservierung klappte gut, man wird freundlich und "per du" begrüsst und zum Tisch geleitet. Kellnerinnen sind durchwegs sehr jung und gut aussehend, sie arbeiten effizient, sind aber nicht wirklich freundlich. Die Einrichtung des Lokals war sehr modern (in den 70er Jahren), jetzt ist sie doch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Musik: hauptsächlich deutsche Schlager, ein paar gute englischsprachige Lieder und auch das eine oder andere in Spanisch und Portugiesisch. Das Essen: unsere Gruppe hat nichts konsumiert, aber es gibt Ripperl, Ritteressen und Riesenpizza auf Vorbestellung. Am Nebentisch wurde das Ritteressen verspeist - für jemanden, der das mag, hat's ganz gut ausgesehen, mein Fall ist das nicht.Auf den Bierkrügen steht zum Glück nur Heineken drauf, drinnen ist dann Stiegl. Die halbe Bier um 4,10 ist nicht gerade billig. Cocktails und Preise siehe Photo.Ambiente: naja, schon etwas "tief", speziell zu vorgerückter Stunde. Sehr gemischtes Publikum (viele Twens, aber auch Sixties).Nagtiv: Es gab absolut KEINEN rauchfreien Bereich, und es wurde "auf Teufel komm raus gepofelt". Auf meine dezente Frage, wo denn der Nichtraucherbereich wäre, erhielt ich zur Antwort: "der ist draussen im Wald". Naja, hoffentlich erledigt sich dieses Thema bald!Geraucht wurde einfach überall, sogar am Klo - echt furchtbar!Und was man noch bedenken sollte: die Taxifahrt zur / von der Waldesruh kann ganz schön ins Geld gehen."

"I ate at this restaurant twice already after some time, and each time the dishes were good and plentiful. If the weather is good I recommend the outdoor veranda that because inside it feels very warm. The friendly staff and quick ready to meet any need. The dishes are typical of the Austria. Excellent meat and generous salads. Also excellent Kaiserschmarrn."

"At my annual visit in linz, the visits to the pichlinger lake are simply necessary in beautiful weather and the visit to gabriellas Trattoria.Gabriella is friendly and very busy and serves the guests with a lot of charm and is helpful.The dishes are good and the choice is great, the pizzas are crispy and well occupied. in the evening you have a good look at the pichlinger lake and it is a great mood on the sea terrace . due to the proximity of the railway station pichling is gabriella and the lake can reach in 10 minutes from the main railway station linz.I am looking forward to the May 2014, if there will be for me again 9 days in linz and I can pic at gabriella the good toptrudel and the delicious."
