"The selection quality of food here is fantastic. We have eaten at Juan Vera many times when visiting our family in Cartama Estacion actually had our wedding service/reception here in 2017. I think that says it all."

"We read about La Freskita on Tripadvisor and headed for it nestled between a strip of dozens of similar looking bars/cafes how else can you decide which is best? We sat outside on a warm evening and enjoyed a drink served by very pleasant waiters Miguel and Carlos. The laminated menu is supplemented by chalked boards with that day 's specials a great sign in my book. La Freskita doesn 't disappoint on any level; the Salmorejo served with tiny pieces of tuna, jamon and chopped boiled egg was the best I 've tasted and at E4 was a bargain delicious! We then enjoyed raciones of the Salpicante and wood oven roasted red pepper salads. Finally we enjoyed a pinchito de pollo each which came with patatas paubre all delicious. What a refreshing experience good tasty food served by excellent waiters and a bottle of decent wine, the whole experience made for a memorably fun evening. At the end of our meal we were served a complimentary flute of cava. Bill for two for the above was E28 marvellous, we cannot wait to return this week end especially as Cartama has it 's 'Ruta de Tapas ' starting today until Sunday. La Freskita is not to be missed."

"We didn’t book but arrived just after opening lucky to get a table for two. Followed previous trip advisor recommendations and was not disappointed. Recommended wine paired beautifully with the paella and prawns pil-pil. Staff were super friendly and happy to offer recommendations."
