"In general the restaurant boxberg lies idyllic on the gleeichnamigen mountain. it has been rebuilt and removed some time ago, so that now more places, a room and a larger outside terrace are available. in the restaurant is in the middle a cozy kamin, which is also heated regularly in winter. the service is fast at the table and also eating comes in a reasonable time. (between and minutes at several visits) depending on the visitor frequency. in beautiful days, many visitors go for a walk there and get in. if in the room is an event with people, this has no effect on the waiting time in the a la carte restaurant, since then more personal is on site. (we asked this when we came and thought, oh gott the get straight all you eat it takes a long time so it wasn't in min. we had our food) the service are mostly younger, but always with enough experienced professionals before place and possibly even come to two when someone is being worked in. the restaurant is not far from the federal road between the restaurant on the mountain and the road are min. meter in this respect does not bother. you have a large playground, hiking trails and a super view to the boxberg and the surrounding forest. the restaurant hof bucken is in the place next door and for some time belongs to the owner of the boxberg. we have not yet been disappointed and will be happy to come back, as we go to eat more often and sometimes change the restaurant, but after disappointing we will stay once again with old proven. service mixed staff between experienced professionals and help. but are professionally incorporated and guided. eating specials are not a problem and are immediately entered into a tablet PC at the table and sent to the kitchen. we had an american salat and a jägerschnitzel. everything was in order and eating is good-bourgeois and there are both freshly baked cakes, ice cream and seasonal offers from dressed. we have already celebrated a festive with people and everything was great. to the firm there was bark and pork fillet as well as duck breast. everything was on the spot and juicy. Of course there were also zig bites, kartoffeln. soned and croquettes but I don't carry this out here. on this day we had wrinkles and an salad with chicken breast. the carving with pommes and salat was great. it came hot and fried on the spot and with a pink panade on the table. at my chicken breast I found a little pity that this was very bright visually and looked like when it was cooked or made in the kovectomat. from anbraten you could not see anything, and that would have been a bit more round. the ambiente super beautifully located on the hang cleanliness everything super clean and on the terrace you can also sit comfortably with dog. in the restaurant I don't know if you can take smaller dogs."
