"First time using this restaurant. The owner was very friendly and invited us to the shop over the telephone to let us place a order before they closed. Being the last customer of the day, we were offered free turkish homemade rice pudding with a touch of cinnamon. Food was OK average QUALITY- , Small type naan Would visit again Recommended."

"When we arrived it wasn’t too busy but you could already see they were under staffed. The bread, salad and dips came 10 minutes apart meaning we had finished the bread by the time the dips came. The restaurant and takeaway got busier resulting in us waiting 50 minutes for our food. My fish was over cooked, as well as the chips. I sent my food back and asked them to take it off the bill, I ate a bit of rice and the salad they brought out to nibble on. My partners meal wasn’t as described on the menu but after waiting nearly an hour he was so hungry he just ate it. They were not apologetic, but did take the things off the bill that we asked. Whilst I understand restaurants are opening again after a long closure period and we understood staff shortages, the quality of food should not be this bad. We wouldn’t return now."

"On Potters Bar High Street. Should be parking depending when you arrive. Weekdays fine. Mainly lamb, all kinds of ways, chicken and fish. The Special for two is good but I suggest , if if there are four of you. Pick the Special for two, the others do not have starters as there is a small selection of Mezes with the Special plus a big portion of mixed salad and rice with it. Enough for four! Then the other two pick the cheapest mains they like and all share the Special! Special consists of chicken shish, lamb shish, two lamb chops, lamb ribs, minced lamb sausage . My suggestion is for economic eating as the Special may be too much for two. They will supply a doggy bag. Food is hit and miss. The lamb was great but the chicken too dry. The whitebait seemed unevenly cooked, see photo). Mains not generous though the Monkfish shish was nice. Attentive and friendly staff. This appears to be expensive area. Some drinks and food prices high. £3.95 for spirits. Cheapest bottle of wine approx £18. Overall not to bad an experience. Good staff/ doggy bag , for the Special). Hit and miss with the food."
