"I recently visited Tasmania and had a drink and meal at this establishment and to be perfectly frank, it was bloody awful. I have had Boags beer many times and have always enjoyed it. The beer I had this particular night was as flat as...can be no head and certainly no bubbles evident. In fact I can’t remember not finishing a beer, prior to this, but I couldn’t drink it. I ordered Tasmanian Scallops and they came out looking like deep fried marbles they were awful. I guess it’s fair to say I will never return....."

"Homage Restaurant at Woolmers Estate sits within the new visitor centre at the entrance of the estate. Staff were friendly, and it seems to be a family run business. Meals were delicious, the pot pies were beautiful, the pumpkin soup lovely, however the okonomiyaki left something to be desired. That said, the venue was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch."

"Years ago, and for many years, as I coursed between Hobart and Launceston, I used to stop at Zeps or somewhere else in Campbell Town for coffee or a bite. No more. Not only is there nowhere in Campbell Town now that serves anything resembling coffee, but Perth offers something just so much better - Ut Si. Driving north, there is also that extra salivating waiting of the extra few kilometres. The charming pain of anticipation ...I have stopped at Ut Si more than a few times now, and it is the rest stop highlight on the trip between our two capitals. The experience combines the fine re-use of the chapel, with its impressive exposed scissor truss roof structure with fine fine food and friendly service.Although there is a wide range of meals available, I would suggest a breakfast/brunch pitch. Eggs, smoked salmon, sourdough - all beautifully cooked and presented - exquisite. On this occasion I sat outside, in the shade of a tree and watch the world go slowly by as I sipped coffee and munched on my eggs. Heaven !But don't be limited by my predilection - there is a huge wood-fired oven out back for pizza, there is often mind-numbingly good lamb pie on the menu ... there are no bad choices here. Slow down, put back that meeting and settle in to enjoy.My only gripe on this occasion - the yappy little dogs brought into the garden that just wouldn't shut up."
