"We have had high quality food in this restaurant (chicken, beef, fish). It was simply excellent and more than worth the price (2344 Euro per main dish). (We would not hesitate to test cheaper wellknown local meals that are also on the menu.) We will surely come back!"

"The quality of products they use and the care they put in to cooking really comes out in every dish. I was craving a Schnitzel and usually don't eat pork because it can have a strong taste, but as the meat is locally sourced and...some produce organic, I gave it a shot. Absolutely clean tasting and delicious. AND the Spätzle was the best me and my friend ever had!!!! The texture was light, fluffy, delicate and cheeeeeesy. The beer was really great and ever member of the staff really friendly. Just a great overall dining experience. If you like digestives (Schnapps) try the one from Bock beer."

"External appearance and ambiente do not suggest that you can expect excellent cuisine here, especially you do not expect to get excellent steaks. but the few meters away from the marketplace are worth it. I am more than pleasantly surprised. sirlon 300g medium with Mediterranean grill vegetables, filet medium rare and rumpsteak medium. the salate was top. but the steaks incl. sweet and pommes were first-class, on the point, optically great dressed and tastefully just outstanding. To the dessert-made ice, strawberry-basilikum and orange-chili. sensational! conclusion: could easily with top steak houses in large cities. very recommended. we are coming back"

"We had a really enjoyable dinner here, made even more pleasant by personable and knowledgable waiters. They recommended local wines for us to try, and with their help we discovered new varieties we'd never tried before and enjoyed very much (tip: try the Schwarze Reisling! ...The dining room is cosy and comfortable and decorated for Christmas. The food was delicious kitchen sent our complimentary goose fat to eat with bread first. German food at Christmas is DEADLY for your diet. I tried to be restrained by ordering the beef broth with one large, tasty liver dumpling floating in it; along with a large and colourful salad. My friend had Maultaschen, a local specialty, which she said was one of the best she'd had. This is definitely a nice place to eat when visiting Dinkelsbuhl, and do ask the waiters for their recommendations on wine you might make a great discovery!"
