"The first time I went to this little café was when I visited Raleigh a couple years ago and I wasn't impressed due to staff being a little rude and the coffee being a bit harsh. Since then, I recently decided to go back and give it another go. I must have got unlucky the first time or they noticed the problem and made adjustments. The coffee shop had fantastic coffee and great pastries! Some of them are made in house and some aren't. The staff will tell you which are if you want something they made, but to help out the muffins are made by them. I got a mocha and a Nutella chocolate banana bread muffin. The muffin was delicious and the coffee was good quality. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful making this a nice little experience. The interior is nicely decorated and the tables are good enough to set up and work from. A calming atmosphere without it being too loud."
