"Very disappointed by the service and the food at Cullen. We went there for lunch on the long weekend. Now I 'm happy by a relaxed atmosphere for dining, if you are paying accordingly but with up to $48 mains and up to $25/glad wines, I would have expected better. The uniforms the staff wear are sleeveless jackets with the Cullen logo embroided, miss mashed pants and skirts and it seemed every waiter had multiple piercings. Again, I am happy with this look in a relaxed dining experience, not when you are paying top dollar. I used to have piercings but would remove them if the situation called for it. So we ordered and I had the marron. When it came out it was served in a broth. I had to ask the waiter for a spoon for the broth, that 's cool, perhaps an oversight. We all make oversights. I took a bight of the marron and it seemed under cooked. I asked the waiter if this was the way the chef served marron as I was a bit cautious about eating uncooked seafood. The response you always eat marron a bit raw because it has a easy to overcook .... Ummm OK??? Then it was main time and after not eating any of the entree I was famished. They bought out the rump which looked very delicious. After they served the meals, they left and I tried to get their attention. They jestured that I come to them, so I got up and went to the counter to ask for a steak knife. For rump o really feel it needs it. The lady 's first response we don 't have steak knives! , the head waiter then informed her that they do, they were just dirty. So he cleaned them and we got our steak knife. I am home now and being violently ill, dare I say Marron perhaps needs to be cooked!!! It was interesting to see the table opposite to us being lavished in attention and excellent service?? Perhaps it helped having food critic Rob Broadfield sitting at that table!!! Wouldn 't be nice to have consistent service, not special treatment. Sorry Cullen, time to learn that everyone can be a critic nowadays and we all deserve the service we pay for, especially at that price I will not be back"

"Woody Nook is located amongst the trees in a quiet tanguill setting. Some might call the cafe premises rustic, I say they are tired and inadequate. The wine and food are OK but the coffee......!!!! and the service!!!! Don't go there. The lady at the pay counter was transactional, abrupt and downright rude, the table service was confused and the coffee was........HORRIBLE!!!! The first served cup was cold with a hint, only a hint of coffee. We took that back for a second try. The second was scalding hot, clearly microwaved, the coffee burnt to undrinkability. WE WON'T BE BACK."

"It overlooks a lake and Brookland winery is on the same property. You can take some really nice photos here. The restaurant is beautiful inside and bright. It's very clean as well. The staff were very polite. They have a children's menu for $15. You can choose a set menu for $60 with several choices of starters, mains and dessert or order individual dishes. I had beef fillet for $40. Partner had goat which tasted really nice. Would love to come back."
