"Silver Fish Seafood Restaurant is walking distance from my house so I go there from time to time. It is always fresh tasting. Excellent seafood soups and some really great salads! The battered shrimp is a little heavy (think) batter for my taste, but if...you like fried foods you will enjoy them. Excellent service ALWAYS! Prices are a little higher than most places but the quality is outstanding. Parking is very limited other than on the street. Sadly, like most all seafood restaurants in Merida, they close TOO EARLY!"

"Traffic and parking at 2:30 pm (high lunch time) is a pain but the valet parking helped. The food and service were very good. The ambiance leaves something to be desired. Since it was a business lunch and I was not paying, I can't comment...on price. I'd recommend it for the food and service. I'll have to try it again some evening and will provide more details. They have been in business for as long as I can remember and that is usually a good sign."

"A good place for fish. What more can I say? Delicious fish isn’t always easy to find here even this close to the sea. Be careful not to fill up too much on the abundant appetizers. Although the guacamole is hard to resist."
