"MUST TRY! Amazing restaurant, super underrated I’ve had one of the best services and food. The whole team is united and professional, there’s a live band on the patio everything about that place was great! "!!CALLING ALL TRAVELLERS!! Went to this lovely restaurant on the Veradero boardwalk. Service was great, given the language barrier they still did everything with a smile and full effort! We ordered the lobster tails and, wow. $7.50CAD for a THICK lobster tail. We immediately regretted not ordering two more. ONE lobster tail like that back home would have cost around $40-$50CAD. Served with rice and choice of veggies or potatoes. It was delicious and savory. We also ordered cheese pizza that was great! !!BRING A WATER BOTTLE!! They were really kind to mention that they only have Tap water. So luckily we had our water bottles from our Hotels, but just as a cautionary warning, do bring a water bottle! They also offer Beer and Coke. Next time I'm in Veradero, me and who ever I'm with will be going here RIGHT after we land. Best place for lobster tails at a ridiculously good price. The name of this restaurant truly speaks for itself, the chef's know what they're doing. Would recommend anyone to give it a try!"

"It was good to find a place which isn't located at the main street. Prices are okay for a tourist town (there are a few places in Varadero where food costs up to 20€/per dish, this isn't one of them). The food altough was one of the best we had in Cuba, ropa vieja was delicious! Cocktails were okay. Service was fast and the waitress was friendly and careful. Seemed like a family-owned business."

"The owner is just incredibly unfriendly and rude. When we finished our food there were already standing people waiting for a seat. We were so friendly to tell the waiter that we can have our drinks at the seat on the entrance, so they don’t have to stand and be waiting. The waiters response was: ‘ I would have told you this anyways as your reservation is only for an hour’. If we would have known that we need to finish food and drinks within an hour I would have never entered this place. At the end the owner gave us the check in dollars and when we wanted to pay in pesos, he said he has his own exchange rate of 180, while at that time most restaurants re exchanged at 130! Such a scam and unsympathetic Italian, there was no Italy feeling at all, screens are hanging around with beach videos of Italy. This place really dismisses the ‘Nonna’ vibe like the name would suggest! Never again"

"It's a tourist trap. You'll get jammed by the taxi driver who will suggest this place even though he will offer to wait for you. While he's waiting and after you've ordered he gets a commission for taking you here. The food is near $20 a plate in Cuba. This should be your first tip, chicken and fries should never cost more than $7 even in Havana usually less than $5. Don't get ripped off at this place. If a taxi driver takes you here insist on somewhere else or walk back up to the main drag and you'll find better restaurants. I'll give this place one thing the food is decent but not special."
