"A busy bar with a nice menu. We had our evening meal in the bar and would recommend as a place to eat. Our chicken dish and fish dish were beautiful. Service was a litlle poor."

"Dined here while staying at the hotel. Service manager is a great host (can't remember his name but starts with a L and checked up on us often. Seafood soup is delicious and chock full of seafood in large bowl. Mushroom appetizer was OK. Lamb...is served braised, more like a stew. The Hake fish was nicely cooked and moist. The server cleared the bread before the main course but would have been a nice accompaniment to the lamb dish. Wished carvery was served in the evening but is lunch only."

"Great location food is good but far too overpriced for having lunch, Clifden has some great Restaurants with lunch and early bird deals so although there is nothing fundamentally wrong it's difficult to recommend the Cafe. It's a shame as we loved to take people to this cafe."

"Delicious food, friendly staff, amazing gin cocktails. Was passing through town on a Friday evening. Seated straight away by lovely Antonio Banderas look alike waiter. What more could you ask for. Would definitely recommend a pasta dish."

"Mixed kebab can only be described as enough meat for a mouse and for the price I have to laugh. Please avoid buying at all cost. I would be ashamed to sell them. The meat was over cooked and a large tray probably had 4 table spoons of meat …. Chips hidden underneath to make it look more…..never again. There’s more meat in a can of dog food"
