"Excellent food and service, personal is always welcoming and nice. Food quality and serving is ideal for the price. it is my regular and popular meeting point for a fast, comfortable meal on a busy or rainy day or simply when I feel too lazy to cook on a Sunday. in any case recommend to take away fish and chips. they are always busy, which shows that you eat is good and I am constantly exploring. please visit them. my favorite is chips and curry or king prawn in satay sauce with king fried rice."

"Plaice was inedible, oil was clearly not hot enough and poached rather than fried. I pushed my fork onto the soggy batter fat ran across the plate. Even the spatula I used to plate up was congealed with fat afterwards. Disgusting. We got takeaways from here once every month and it used to be great. Not sure what has happened, but safe to say we won’t be returning. If the owners want to dispute this, I have photos of the levels of fat soaked ‘food’. I knew unwrapping my fish it was going to be rubbish, so clearly the person who wrapped it also knew that didn’t care. Why wait for freshly fried if they can’t fry it properly or be bothered to get the oil to temperature. It’s not rocket science. Interesting to learn about the 3 star hygiene rating too, it’s not hard to get 5, just requires giving more care and attention."

"Food was average. The bill was wrong, overcharged by £18. The waiter explained that some other diners food had somehow appeared on our bill. There were only three of us.We dined at 5.00p.m. As the restaurant was almost empty it is difficult to understand how bills could be mixed!"
