"From the atmosphere to the service this is by far the best eating experience I had while staying in Amberg. It is a bit more expensive than most restaurants in the area but well worth it. It would be a great place to celebrate an anniversary or take someone special."

"Franco has exchanged his "made in italy" for the arena. an italian as a restaurant is certainly not everyone's thing. you don't need to come on games or events, that's just stressful. for me, the arena is the best Italian of the city, especially because franco has also expanded the map. the new pizza oven is a splendour.Only the drop of wormwood: the service is of my own ability to improve."

"Lage amberg is a beautiful historical old town. starting on the parking lot in the spa for the first time a walk along the rivery and directly into the government district and the taverne syrtaki. the first tavern renamed since 1994. from outside rather inconspicuous, the space inside are very large, with a next room for more 30 people. in the hof there is a cozy beer garden that we visited on the afternoon. in the evening we had reserved and were assigned a table for 4 people. the tables are naked and dark with a small runner, embroidered with two syrta kitchens (the motto of the taverne). the chairs and benches are covered with dark blue leather. the window benches decorate numerous single-sheet plants in plant dowels. the walls are decorated with Greek paintings, the two yrta kitchens and reliefs. the team has rejuvenated since our last visit. friendly and friendly we were served. eat before there was a ouzo on the house. as an appetizer we decided this evening for the peperoni (wurm with tzatzki (5,50€). the peperoni had not been grilled, but had been heated in a pan with olive oil. then we were looking for the Sporad fish plate (15,50€) and the baby calamari (15,50€). a mixed salad with each amount of shaking. the fish plate was equipped with cleat fillet, 4 garnel and rice. the same met also the buttery baby calamaris with rice, which we could already enjoy in a small form from the midday ticket (9,50 €), the second midday dish was the tender souvlaki speer (7,50€ with rice and salat."

"I visited the iceberg industry with some friends yesterday. With pre-registration and a group of 10 people, you can order a Lebanese menu. After welcoming the very nice boss, she immediately wore the dishes. It started with various kinds of delicious humus, fladen bread and salads. Eggplants filled with minced meat, falaffel as well as rice with fried pigeons slowly passed over to the main course consisting of a meat plate (Cevapcici and Souvlaki), as well as a fish plate (garnels and squid rings). That was really delicious! The service by the boss was also very good, so I can definitely recommend the restaurant."

"With a few friends we visited the black cooker (as it actually means) on a Sunday in the early evening to complete a nice day.We had reserved what would not have been absolutely necessary. there was plenty of space.The service was very friendly and very fast for the first orders, but then we "forgot" a bit.The ambiente is "sufficient - convenient", so not kitschig or especially. I like that. I had a steak nature with country potatoes, the others had different dishes.My steak was perfect. the kartoffeln plentiful and very good (the chef probably specializes in kartoffels in all variations). the soßen to steak also excellent. I might have expected a little more salate than supplement/deco, but you can't make it right for the steak eaters anyway.No one of my companions had something to put out, but those who had ordered the münzinger pfandl were especially full of the laubes. I'll try this for myself in a timely way.The price is already a bit elevated, but not unharmed.I can recommend the visit to the black cooker for groups. to date, I might rather choose the competition, but can't even justify why."
