"Visiting Australia went for a family lunch. The service was exceptionally slow despite the restaurant being half empty. Some guests had soft drinks, with glasses. There were no glasses or clean bottles available for those who asked for plain water, although bottled water was made available about half way through the meal. The order of a spicy chicken wrap, crispy bacon and caramelised onions , no chips, arrived with chips, limp barely cooked bacon, and the portion of onions was so scarce as to be almost non existent. I did not complain at the time because the meal was a treat from my daughter."

"Decided to stop on Thursday evening at mr. nick while we make our shopping. it was seafood night. at the order the woman behind the counter was very rude and clear, I took her time with the order. she was visibly annoyed when I asked for a bottle of water. she filled it in a huff and gave me a glass and turned right away. the glass I was handed over was dirty with means of life visible. then I waited for 30 minutes for a lobster roll (red bungalow with cold filling minimal cook) that was clearly forgotten. the only reason we approached is that I sat in the Orient bar and the cook might overhear that it was awhile and saw that I was standing up from my seat to check it. when the roll finally appeared, there was hardly any filling and it was quite tasteless. for $20 for two tiny rolls I would expect a little more and one of the rolls had a bit of a bowl. very disappointed, as a regular patron in pasadena foodland, I will think twice before I eat again."

"Friends from the UK felt like a pub meal, so we took them to our favourite local. They loved the food- great presentation and flavours- and friendly staff. Steaks beautifully cooked to order. "So cold in there. got one of the food orders wrong. Was very nice about it, but unfortunately this meal was very delayed. My men's food came out first, as the rest he came out. This is so easy to get in a decent restaurant. The food was average. Not bad. Definitely will not go back."
