"We've been going to Thai Pasta for the past 15 years (back when it was in Oceanside) and then when they relocated to Carlsbad. They've been very consistent with good food and prices up until when they changed owners circa 2021/22. Ever since they've changed ownership we noticed the following: 1. price increased by 30-40% for the same dishes 2. very, very poor customer service 3. the food was not as good (tasty) as previous 15yrs 4. no more dine in with plates and cutlery; instead you're eating out of paper plates in the restaurant SAVE YOUR MONEY."

"Terrible service. Period. Umbrellas and heaters set up outside. We ask of they are serving outside. Yes. So I have to ask for menus. 15 min later, they shut their door. I dont know whats up with this place but this kind of service is crap. Another time, we showed up, waited for almost 60min AFTER we placed our order. Their excuse was there were several phone-orders ahead of our order. They shouldve TOLD US THIS, instead of taking our order and keeping us waiting for an hour. Absolutely LAME. MEANWHILE the owner is next door serving up drinks at his other restaurant. Seriously?"

"I really hoped this would be my new go-to sushi spot, but they need some big help on service. Our waitress was not very attentive and my request for NO onions on my daughter?s chicken yakisoba somehow turned into ADD onions. She was not very happy. The sushi was average, and for a not-so-busy Sunday evening, the sushi came out very slowly. At least 20 minutes after placing our order. Upon our exit there was no goodbye or thank you. Times are tough on restaurants, but good service is key. Yamakari needs some work."
