"Fancied a takeaway but wanted something a bit different. I ordered Moussaka with side order of chips (wouldn’t usually eat chips with Moussaka but it’s a takeaway so what the heck! . I’ve been to Greece a number of times and eaten in many Greek restaurants there and here in England so thought my takeaway wouldn’t match up. How wrong I was. This is the best Moussaka I’ve ever eaten. Big portion served in a terracotta dish a step up from the usual polystyrene container. The chips were great chippy chips. I will defo be ordering again."

"Been loads times but today awful dirty tables had wipe myself with tissue !! Ordered food for 3sall fish chips peas drink and 1 gluten free which had pay extra for as font doo meal deals on gluten free?? Ook no.probst then no gluten free vinegar ?? Pointless as can't use MALT vinegar was just told no don't do it?? So had to have jyst salt on meal ordered 2 teas which didn't come utilll we asked and werenearly finished eating by time git it!! No sorry so very disappointed as we have been several ties without the pperso who is gluten free so after singing it's praises we ere very disappointed and that person would never go again I can't believe how slack it was today and surprised at such bad service would have think twice now if would take children again even without our gluten free customer not happy at all"

"Recently, when I have collected my fish chips I have found the chips to be dry and crispy as always, but the fish, though obviously fresh and of good quality, to be disappointingly swimming no pun intended in grease and therefore very unappetising. I believe that when taken from the fryer, the fish are not rested in the warming drawer long enough to drain them of fat. I am only writing this review not to impinge on the excellent reputation of Skippers but in the hope that a minor change in procedure might restore the food to its original high quality. I have also noticed that when the food was below standard the owner was not present."
