"....there are a few, one of the most beautiful ones is under the arcades in the archway! Unfortunately, he is very cramped and sometimes it is really hard to get a place. Nevertheless, the bistro of butterstore Holstein one of my favorite places in Münster. The butter store Holstein in the Bogenstraße under the many arcades is an institution for enjoyment in Münster. If I'm in Münster at business hours, I'll never make it back home without a visit to this business. For every connoisseur a paradise! Not quite so well known, and not so prominently among the arcades of the Bogenstraße lies the small (micro) bistro of butterstore Holstein. Right behind the shop you turn into the street Horsteberg, there it goes up to the cathedral, first comes the door of Hotel Busche am Dom, then the entrance to Bistro. In beautiful weather something more striking because a few tables are outside, in winter nothing indicates this beautiful place. Inside it is really intimate, the room has no 100 square meters, besides the counter there need 4 tables with high chairs and rear wall bench pure, a few seats on the counter and on the window. That's all I can do. If the places are all occupied, it becomes quite cuddly. But the return is worth when you get a place. In addition to all the tasty things from the shop counter in the shop there is a small card with freshly prepared dishes, which in turn also refer to their ingredients from the store. As always with Holstein in the best possible product quality. On Thursday between the years, my wife and I once again had a bit of luck and found a table free from lunch. So in and the daily dishes on the wall over the tables in sight. These are also displayed on a small map The offer goes from collections of delicacies from the store to seafood, small bistro dishes to a beef fillet on Thursday. Everyone can be fed for a lunch. Dinner does not go anyway, some dishes are offered only until 4 pm. It took some time to decide, but a glass of wine was ordered quite fast A dry Riesling 2016 from the Rheingauer Winery Trenz from Johannisberg and a dry Pinot Blanc 2015 from the Tesch Winery, Nahe were ordered and served together with bread and butter. In the meantime we also knew what we want to eat for both peasant maize breast with olive walnut crust. served with a salad. Fine, small lunch in the serving size. Very good the fresh salad, which was made with a Vinaigrette of sweet grained mustard. The chicken breast was tender and brought to the point juicy to the table. Only at the crust would I have wanted a little more courage to spice. The olive walnut crust was quite gently tasted, I would have found a little more bumms better. Still everything in all a tasty plate. Finally, an offer of the map, a homemade sprout from Valrhona chocolate with any coffee. Four varieties of chocolates were ready for tasting, we chose one with marzipan as well as another with an orange (slee) filling. Both tasted excellent for the very good espresso from an FAEMA sieve carrier machine (a long-awaited dream to have one such standing in my kitchen). The young lady in the service not only knew how to deal with the coffee machine in the best possible way, but also managed the service in the so very confined guestroom without mistake and tadel, although she was very well equipped with fully occupied seating. However, there is no room for a second service. I like this place very much and I take some inconvenience here simply because it's so nice to go there. I'm sure I'll be back here."

"A special evening at Gabriel’s We stayed in Gabriel on 25.01.2020 and had a really great evening. The ambience, the wine, the food, the staff have all matched and given us a great evening. Sure, you can't eat here every day, you can enjoy something special. Price performance was absolutely consistent for us. The January menu was perfectly matched and has very well harmonized. Even the portions were very good, after that they were well saturated without feeling too full. We'll probably come back and get spoiled here."
