"The only Japanese restaurant in lahad datu, opened since 2016. it is a well hidden place that is fucked away in the Perdana area. the restaurant is quite large, with much seat for larger groups on the back. it is a filiale of tawaus sakura zen that goes back to its much older predecessor edo i zen so that they have a long history in Japanese restaurant business. the price class would be in the medium for Japanese food, so the quality is good for its price class and they have a very wide range of options in their menu. They can sushi, sashimi, nudel (soba, udon, ramen) bark dishes, chicken dishes or more modern takes like pizza. the taste is good and well prepared. if they want cheaper Japanese food, then they get the food, or plasticity / chew fish. So, this is a real Japanese restaurant with good and proper service, not a cheap one."
