"Buying one of the gift boxes as treats my friends could share with their family on Christmas day. When shopping I noticed that there were a number of chocolates that are labeled vegan, so the next time I was at Cabosse Feve it was all about me! 4 different vegan chocolates bought as treats to slowly work my way through. Must admit chocolate and orange was my first choice, so I started on the orangets. Small beaver of sweet, sweet orange filling with dark and intense chocolate. The jelly has checked me twice to make sure it was vegan, but certainly is marked as such. It takes a few weeks as an occasional treat to empty the package, now I'm a little sad. No matter testing another 3 other chocolate bars, and I'm still in town and intending to be in stock in front of Castlemaine. I would add that it is worth the effort to find this sweet treat factory."

"Recently in the main part of the city opposite maxi, this place is the best to take a quick coffee and cookies after shopping or on the way out of the city. they have a vegan biscuits (soo good a vegan tar (was delicious, but a bit too cold) and also a cake and 2 cake I have not yet tried! also the coffee is really good here! updated by the previous review on 2022-04-29"

"Icecream social has great vegan options. they are drawn to the mill and do not run the whole caffe anymore from the window. they have several vegan ice cream flavor and the waffel cones are vegan. the choc minze I had to ask several times to confirm that it was vegan because it was so delicious! the lemon, lime and bitter taste was also really refreshing. they also have other vegan products such as donuts or cookies and frozen vegan meals such as lasagne, but these are all dependent on what is available and when it is sold out. ask each time what vegan causes they have at present."

"Desserts here eclipse the main menu the servings are generous size so share if you can. Loved the interior wondered if the heritage items has been preserved intact. My four stars is for overall experience. I broke my cardinal rule of 'never order seafood/fish ' in a pub setting paid the price. Barramundi was stale the rice like straight out thawed texture though the presentation looked enticing. Others liked what they had. Friendly wait staff. Recommend draught Harcourts apple cider."
