"I use to visit this place over 20 years ago when I was still living in Corticelle. Nowadays this place still deliver excellent food if not even better. I have been eating well on this trip, I have tried few new places in the city and yes, I was satisfied, but also cost me an average of €40-50 per meal. Antica Stella is one of the few places left where you can still eat “Nostrano” at affordable price €13 for lunch) I visited this place last Monday and had Casoncelli as a primo and bollito as a Secondo. I was so blown away by the standards that I had to go back 1 more time before leaving Italy to try other dishes. Today I had Casoncelli and Grigliata mista e the quality was still top-notch. Barbariga’s Casoncelli are probably the most famous of the Brescia province, but for me nothing beat the filling of this place, “Hats off”! Truly amazing. I really really hope this place can carry on and still be here when I am back next year because I will surely visit until it stands."
