"My recent experience with Chillies Carnoustie was far from satisfactory. I eagerly awaited my takeaway, only to be met with disappointment upon its arrival. The food, regrettably, was barely warm, which immediately set a disappointing tone. Moreover, the promised explosion of flavors that typically characterize Indian cuisine was conspicuously absent. Both curries I ordered were nothing short of awful. The lack of depth in taste and the absence of the anticipated aromatic spices left much to be desired. It's disheartening when a restaurant renowned for its cuisine fails to deliver on its promise of quality. Given my high expectations, this experience was an unfortunate letdown. I genuinely hoped for a delightful culinary journey, but instead, it was a lackluster affair that missed the mark entirely."

"We have booked for women. our table was reserved and we sat and gave menus. I asked for milk free option and got a choice of two a fish dish and a bun) I decided to stir for the peri peri huhn with. fritted veg and chips. they advised that the frit was only cleaned and had no milk products in it, bonus for me. other guests chose fish and chips, anti-paper, chicken curry and rice and there were two suppening available and a selection of sandwiches. the portion sizes and the quality were good and the price very reasonable mine was just a waitress that served so that meal times in two, but that was the only disadvantage. all in all a very pleasant lunch at a really reasonable price and we had the table for two and a half hours! would definitely return .oh and it is not just for members."
