"Went here for an evening meal on a very windy evening. We were unsure about the wind but whilst waiting for our menu to arrive a lack on the table next to us was complaining quite strongly that the first she has ordered was of...poor quality and taste. Although we weren't able to to assess the quality of the food, we were disappointed with the way the waiter dealt with the situation and decided not to stay."

"We found La Place by accident well not quite an accident the narrow paved roadway was just fine but no place for a nervous driver. What a jewel. We arrived just before noon. We had coffee and decided to stay for lunch. We both opted for the set menu a very wise choice. Appetizers chosen octapus salad and a salad with a cheese pastry very light and tasty. Our main course was pork tenderloin absolutely perfect and cannelloni, also perfect! We both chose the ice cream desert, broiled on top mmmmmm . The young female server was delightful and the view could not be beat. We made a reservation for 3 days from today. Need we say more?"

"A huge disappointment! The mussels were over cooked and poor quality, many were so small and stringy they seemed to be cheap seconds. One of us ordered a langoustine pasta, should have asked for the price, 63 euros for over cooked pasta and over cooked langoustine. Appalling and offensive. The service is rushed and frantic.
