"Had a great dinner with my Dad. Frozen sangria swirls were so yummy! I had the bacon wrapped filet medallions with bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp. Shrimp were great. Steak was little less than medium rare but was still ok for me. Kids loved trying the different salsas including the habanero that my dad likes. Was a great experience overall."

"We stopped in Abuelo 's for dinner while in town for a seminar and we 're so glad we did. The restaurant was welcoming, clean, and nicely decorated. They were busy so we had to wait a few minutes, but there was plenty comfortable seating to relax during the wait. Our server was friendly, attentive, and prompt to bring a delicious variety salsa tray with fresh chips and perfectly sweetened tea. We weren 't sure what to order from the wide variety menu, but there may not have been a bad choice because all of our food was absolutely delicious! From the tacos, to the enchiladas (we tried several different kinds, and they were all great) to the papas con salsa. The steak I ordered with my enchiladas was cooked perfectly medium, full of flavor, juicy, and fork tender. SO GOOD! We eat a lot of Mexican food, and this is one of the best we 've tried in a long time. I look forward to visiting again the next time we 're in town!"

"Awesome place for Mexican food with a blend of Acapulco flavor. They do things a little different which was a refreshing twist to the typical TexMex one usually has in the DFW area. Lots of Mexican beers in bottles and a few on draft, great mixed drink options even though our party of 7 didn 't partake in any. I will have to try one next time. Would have given 5 stars but it took a little bit for the server to greet the table and to revisit for drink refills throughout the meal. I do have to say, besides a few 2 tops, there was a large birthday party with about 14+ people so maybe attention was a little split. Also 4 stars because the flaming banana dessert wasnt lit on fire table side so a little bit of a let down, but I 'm certain insurance won 't allow that type of thing anymore. Our waitress was very helpful though with making my selection as I had a question about an unfamiliar menu item to which she showed me a picture on her phone. It 's what I eventually ordered. So thanks for that awesome 'boneless platter ' covered in melted shredded cheese. Check out the pics."

"Went here on two different nights and the customer service in the drive-thru was kind and patient. Took the time to answer questions and didn’t feel like a hassle to them. Which I love and appreciate. Food was Breakfast burritos, enchiladas that had enough filling and wasn’t dry shredded chicken but actual juicy, flavorful pieces, loaded half fries, and to top it off the churros that were still warm and covered in cinnamon sugar jus the way I like it."
