"Visited pub with parents and daughter on Bank Holiday Monday. Almost all of menu available (a couple of minor items, they'd run out of). Service was quick , choice of vegetarian and gluten free food available (none actually designated GF but there are options with...some thought, aware of this as I'm coeliac! Sat outside in sun, plenty of space, food arrived first, left to own devices to enjoy it, no hurrying and immediate clearing away by staff. Excellent chips!!! Really pleasant atmosphere and very reasonable prices indeed. Well worth a relaxed visit. Very impressed indeed."

"4 of us stayed here on Saturday night 15/03/2014 and it was very pleasant. the rooms were clean and modern with tee and coffee accessories and tw. liam, who was responsible, did everything he could to make our stay the best possible and we had an excellent breakfast. the pub is ideal location for many attractions and only 10 minutes by car in newark, we would definitely stay here again."
