"Ate here twice during our holiday as was quite close to our accomodation. The first time as walk in customers. The food was good and the service OK but somewhat impersonal. No one came to ask how we found the food. The second time we booked in advance and arrived just before our our booked time at 7.30. Drinks were ordered immediately and delivered promptly. Food order was taken shortly afterwards, about 7.35 then we waited, which was surprising as the restaurant was not very busy at this time and we had ordered grilled fish which does no take long to prepare. At 8.05 I called the waitress to enquire the whereabouts of our food as we had noticed that several tables that had arrived after us had been served. I would have expected the staff to have noticed this also, without having to be prompted. After a short delay we were informed by the waitress that had taken our order that that she had not sent it through to the kitchen, she offered an apology and said she would send it through right away. We were eventually served our meal at 8.25, fully 50 minutes after it had originally been ordered. Again, once we had been served no one came to ask if everything was OK. When I asked for the bill I pointed out to the waitress, (not the one who had taken our order), that I expected some kind of recompense due to the inacceptable wait we had encountered due to their error. The bill arrived with the full amount stated and no other offer of compensation. I pointed out that this was not acceptable and was told, quite loudly and rudely in front of other customers, that as we had eaten the food nothing could be done! When told that this was unacceptable she merely repeated what she had already said in the same manner. I asked to see the manager, only to be told that he was not there so we would have to come back the following day not possible as we were leaving. I then asked for someone senior and was referred to the waitress who had taken the order in the first place. She immediately took the bill and returned with it reduced by an acceptable ammount and a further apology for her error. This is what should have happened earlier and without the need for prompting. (Free drinks while we were waiting could have been another acceptable altternative). If I was reviewing this restaurant on food alone I would give 5/5 but they have fallen well short of expectations on customer service to the point where some staff training is urgently required. The waitress who brought our bill I would remove from any customer facing role until she has been retrained. It will be very unlikely that we will use this retaurant again after having our last night meal spoilt by inefficient service and rude staff. There are many other good seafood restaurants in Costa Teguise to choose from!"

"This restaurant was recommended by someone in resort where we were staying. We went with an open mind, and if I’m honest if it wasn’t recommended we would probably have walked past. The owner Domingo is courteous, helpful and knows the menu like the back of his hand. Would definitely recommend and have already eaten twice there this holiday. What a find.thank you"

"On the first day in the costa teguise immersed in late lunch. for croquettes and calamari for appetizers and fish as main course. waiter said we had ordered too much food as the portions would be large. we dropped the calamari and realized that he was dead when the food arrived. we would never have finished our original order. good value well served and excellent sunny location."
