"The sit down restaurant is on the lake side, across the road is the pub and pizzeria. The bartender spoke perfect English and was very nice. I ordered a pizza marinara with some veggies. I had a great pizza on the table in less than 5 mins. Inexpressive too. There were tables to eat and have drinks/wine there. Highly recommended. Updated from previous review on 2018-10-01"
In beautiful weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

"The place looked beautiful and conveniently located next to the boarding dock on the lake. Decided to sit down and order coffee only to be rudely asked to leave immediately by an incredibly aggressive owner. Any decency to the following exchange was immediately lost, despite the fact we had left the property, as he started to use Italian swear words, repeatedly giving the middle finger while screaming, all while others were watching in complete shock. We will take the appropriate consequences to deal with this, including the physical roughing up by the restaurant owner, but in the meantime wish to warn other travelers to stay away from this place at all costs. There are numerous places within a few meters with friendly service and great food, do not risk ruining your getaway like we did by going here."

"We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Not sure what title he should have but we were met with a huge smile. Helped us with our bags and looked after them until our room was readied. This was done quickly even though we were very early. Reception staff were helpful and informative and did everything they could to make us welcome. The room was comfortable but not outstanding, but have to say the bed was extremely comfortable. The view over the Lake was amazing!!! I would recommend the Lake View Rooms. The clientele was mixed with Italians, Germans and quite a few older Brits on tour. Mustn 't forget the token Aussies. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the young ladies serving were delight and couldn 't help more. The same could not be said for the older more experienced blokes. The food was varied and as a whole was excellent, with the exception of the scrambled egg which was ordinary at best. The Pool was good with a view directly over the lake. It was clean and a pleasant temperature. Not overly noisy at any time. Towels provided every day so no sweaty, oily towels. Would definitely return here. Loved it!!"

"We went prior to sunset, we seated outside and it was lovely but blistering hot. However, we wanted to have a view of the lake and once the sun was behind the mountains it was lovey. Service was wonderful, food was good, but not exceptional."
