"This place was packed, so I recommend a reservation. The food was remarkable, so I understand the crowd. Our group had a variety of dishes, from pumpkin soup, to steak, to deer. Everyone was excellent. Everything was right, it was the best meal we had on our two-week business trip to the region. The desserts are worth saving space."

"At the end of September we celebrated our wedding at Burggaillenreuth, it was a completely successful festival. The super support in planning, high flexibility and always friendly contact is to be emphasized. Price/performance fits from our point of view. The location itself is really very beautiful if you like the rustic charm of a castle. We enjoyed great and the festive room would be very nicely covered and prepared. On the day of the wedding, as a bridal couple, we were also well supported (coordination cake, DJ, flowers, speaker... so that we could enjoy the festival in peace. Because of the weather, we had to hold the wedding inside, but it worked very well. The quality of the food was very good, on request of the guests (vegetarisch/vegan was flexibly received. Absolutely outstanding was the service, completely topmotivated and friendly. Drinks were quickly and abundantly refilled, the drinks were also very good. The rooms are simple, but clean and deaf for one night. With a few small repairs, you could get something out. Overall, I can only recommend the castle as a wedding location, thank you at this point and whole team of Burggaillenreuth."

"We stayed here for a few nights on our motorcycle tour in Europe. On arrival we realized that our limited German has held us back at the reception, although the first lady tried to communicate with us, and we could book a pitch... the second lady was somewhat more impatient, I must say, but it was very busy... definitely must brush up on my German for the next time! The area was fantastic, especially for those who are in outdoor sports such as climbing and hiking. The restaurant served local dishes, namely many wild boar dishes ... which were really delicious!!! We had a nice time here and would definitely stay again!"
