"Had the worst cod and chips ever Cod not cooked well Batter over cooked Chips disgusting Old oil We rated this as the best fish and chip shop ever m... I now never want to eat fish and chips again. I felt so sick afterwards. It’s also doubled in price AVOID"

"Don't have fish and chips often at all so has taken a few years to get here... We usually share a large cod the large was actually 2 smaller ones so turned out well. Staff all great, great choice of food and place very popular. Chips could be a bit more generous if looking for a minor fault but on the flipside the curry sauce was the best I've had from a chippy and a very generous tub! Will use next time I'm sure!"

"We came shortly before the conclusion (a bit really). but the staff was very courteous and friendly and our order of 4 cajau and chips, sausage and chips and other sides were all freshly cooked. the fish was beautiful, the teig crispy and not oily. the chips were also very nice. all in all very well prepared foods."

"The thatched inn is a lovely pub that we always enjoy going to with friends and family alike. The pub is very welcoming and also serves lovely food too. The menu includes chargrilled steaks and fresh fish, etc. The chicken with red pesto and cream is really good. There is also a special menu which I think changes daily. To complement the wonderful pub food, there are a nice selection of traditional real ales and lagers. Nice service and helpful staff make this a good choice.Families are always made to feel very welcome and in summer the garden is a good place where children can play in the tree house and mum and dad can chill out a bit too"
