"We didn't want huge meals, so we only had a salad, but the portions were so huge that we weren't finished. Too much chicken, sauce, parmesan etc., so we were overloaded. If it were easier or cheaper, we would have had a pudding. But... it was friendly and it was clean and well run."

"We are four couples travelling the Mayenne and Sarthe rivers. We had communicated by email in advance, first to establish that they would be open on a Sunday evening (summer hours) and secondly to arrange a special desert since one of our group had a...birthday. Sylvie was very responsive and all went as planned, as they presented a beautiful strawberry and custard cake (store bought they admitted) accompanied by a bottle of the local sparkling wine: Crémant de Loire. We walked up a steep hill from the river and the restaurant is modern and on a quiet street. There is an outside terrasse but the weather was too cold for that. The menu choices are few but very well prepared and for €25 is excellent value. Some of us returned for a second visit three days later"
